Headed to knee deep Monday, been there many times, I'm looking for a really good restaurant to take the wife before we hit the brewery. Looked at bootleggers and Auburn Althouse. Any advice ba ers?
AA has good food. Can't go wrong there. Old Town Pizza. Lunch or dinner? Lunch, New Belgium is a great sandwich spot. Maidu Cafe. Joe Caribe is a good time if you want dinner. Auburn's a lousy restaurant town and Monday is a lousy restaurant night (almost all of my picks are closed).
Ya wife's in sac for business so it'll just be Monday night for dinner then golf Tuesday. AAmight be it...?
Auburn Alehouse is a winner. If you like Thai food, this place is one of the best in the Sacramento Area.... http://www.auburnthai.com/ Not to mention that their bottle list is extensive and once the owner (Nu) knows you're a beer geek, you'll be taken care of as far as pairings go.
