August Schell's Dawn of Aurora in WI

    Has anybody seen this on the shelves lately (or at all) in WI? I'll be driving through Eau Claire and Madison en route to Chicago, on Thursday,and am looking to pick up multiple bottles. If anybody has seen them lying around, any pointers would be very helpful. The rest of the Noble Star series has made it up to the Northwoods but this one has not.

    Is that the latest one? If so, I think I saw a few bottles at Steve's Junction Rd. 608) 833-5995.

    Yeah, it came out a while back. It has a blue label on it. I'll give them a call this evening. Thanks.

    You may have to pass a little closer to the Milwaukee area. Try Malt Shoppe at Hwy 100 and Wisconsin, or Three Cellars at 76th and Rawson. I know I saw it about a month ago at the Shoppe. Three Cellars is just about a guarantee.

    What about the Coffee Grounds in Eau Claire? I know they've carried some of the others in the series.

    I called the Coffee grounds in Eau Claire and they have a few left. If by some strange stroke of luck they disappear and I strike out everywhere else, I might have to take you up on that. I've got plenty of goodies if you are interested in a trade.

    Ignore my previous comment, Three Cellars is definitely sold out. Also have a bottle I can pass along if need be.

    The Malt Shoppe in Wauwatosa has two bottles of Dawn of Aurora left and they have North Country Brunette.

    Steve's on UAve still has bottles of it. I've also see it at Rileys.

    Yeah, Cypress Blanc was just released in MN over the weekend. I will definitely pick up a few of those too if they are on the shelf when I pass through. The description from Schell's website has me intrigued. Not sure that I've ever tried a Brett lager before.

    Cypress Blanc is next, Peach to follow shortly after from what I hear. According to Schell's Twitter Starkeller Peach was bottled last week, so It shouldn't be long now. Very excited for that one.

    I bought one up in Duluth a few weeks ago. If you see it, buy it. It is a great beer. I will definitely purchase another if it makes it to my corner of the state.
