Augusta Must DO's

    My wife is in Augusta for a few days. Any beer related places that she should not miss while there.

    She enjoys well made stouts.

    Sorry to have to put this here, but the Augusta "Places" page is pathetic.

    Not much in Augusta, probably a better chance for stuff over the river in SC for bigger and better.

    Wine World in North Augusta, SC is one small oasis in the Augusta beer desert.

    From downtown Augusta, you cross the 13th street bridge over the river and Wine World will be on the right.

    There's a brewpub in Aiken, SC, about half an hour away.

    There is still a Mellow Mushroom downtown isn't there? Can't be a terrible selection there. At least something is better than nothing.

    IMO the best thing that comes out of Augusta is Interstate 20.
