I'll be taking a trip next week to Boston and Cape Cod and was just curious if any of the Augustiner beers are available in the state? I know it's a rare brewery to find in the states, but figured I'd ask anyways. If so, please let me know where you've seen it. Thanks,

Seekabrew.com shows no Augustiner in Mass. However, a local near me (but opposite side of the state from boston and the cape) does list an augustiner light in stock. Not sure how much that helps you though.

I have seen some Augustiner Brau several places in the area. A couple off the top of my head: Gordon's on Main in Waltham, and Upper Falls Liquors in Newton. I'd call to check exact stock before you go though.

Yeah I feel like I see Augustiner regularly around the area. Saw their Maximator and Edelstoff at Whole Foods in Dedham last night. I think they were $14 for a sixer? Though if you're already going to Granite, it may be pointless to go to the Dedham WF as Granite in Weymouth has a better beer selection in general and is more on the way from Boston to Cape Cod... just adding another option.

I've seen some variety of Augustiner at Martignetti's in Brighton more often than not. (And yeah, at about fifteen bucks a sixer.)

Just wanted to report back and say I hit up Granite Liquors and was not disappointed!!!! Not only did I find Augustiner, but found a ton of other awesome brews. I forgot the name of the beer guy, but not only was he super helpful in recommending some brews, he even threw in a free beer he thought I should try. 5 star rating for this place!!!!

Are Augustiner beers still contract brewed for US consumption?
