im over in southeast michigan but travel all over the state for disc golf. we have some pretty fantastic courses here in michigan and that includes my area although the best ones are in Traverse City and Ludington(Grand Rapids and Kzoo have some great ones too). if you ever make a trip to Kuhnhenn then hit me up. plenty of good courses to choose from within 30-40 minutes from Kuhnhenn.

Like fishmich said...I was referring to the courses at Selah Ranch (Lakeside and Creekside). Its about 2hrs east of Dallas, so it wouldn't be on your way between here and Houston, but its worth the extra drive if you have time. I think its a $25-30 all day green fee, and you can rent a golf cart for $40 a day. I haven't played them yet, but I hear that the golf cart is a must considering the length of the courses.

Heard that. Audubon is 15 minutes away from my neck of the woods in Dallas (Sachse).. which I'll play for convenience when there.

Ahh Audubon...first course I ever played, still one of my favorites! I live in the neighborhood...hit me up next time you're around and we can catch a round and open some bottles along the way. Wouldn't be the first disc golf / bottle share we've had out there

There's a great beer store across the street that you should check out next time you're here. They don't have a lot of turnover, so you can find limited releases long after they've sold out everywhere else.
