Aussie BIF hints and hauls

My box will travel like a term used to describe a basketball play. Will do a bit of shopping soon, but have a bit of an idea what the box will look like.

Well, finally have a chance to post a hint. Well, sort of. Half the job is done as I have made it back from California with bottles in tact, some of which are bound for my BIF target. Just need to pick up another one or two to round things out and should be able to send on Monday. Cheers!

 

Box is packed ready for sending Monday. Destination NSW, the box should know the way.

bottle #1 straight off targets wants list (top 10 on the American strong ale list)
#2 is the current vintage of a beer off targets wants list (same brewery as #1)
#3 is a bottle of the best beer I tried during my US trip last month
#4 is a 10% RIS from the US midwest (perfect for a nice hot summer day)
#5 a local delicacy (hope target likes whiskey)
#6 is not a beer at all, but its something suited to a hot Christmas day and its local.
gear is a proper glass to enjoy #1 with and I cant remember buying it (was a good day)

In other news, my box is complete and should arrive at it's destination at the end of the week. 5 wants within.

 

4 more beers to pack and my box will be dropped off tomorrow.

 

Box sent off today. A bit later than expected, but hopefully the recipient enjoys the reason for the delay.

Box has 2 cans, one Aussie & one US. 2 large format bottles, one not in the database and one long retired beer that is still on the shelves (tautology?). Rest is made up of small format stuff local to me and my hometown.
