Austin - American Craft Beer Week

    What's up everyone? Thought it would be cool to start this thread since there are a number of events going on this week. List the events you know of or will be attending this week and let's all go have a beer!

    Today I'll be heading to Pinthouse Pizza for the Oseary Drakoulias release.
    Here's the details on that:

    BARREL AGED SERIES - OSEARY DRAKOULIAS
    A limited release from our Barrel Aged Series, Oseary Drakoulias ages our The Admiral (Imperial Dry Irish Stout) in a Silver Oak Cabernet Barrel with organic cherries from Big B’s Delicious Orchards. Served on both CO2 and Nitro, Oseary Drakoulias is big but light on the palate with amazing depth as it warms. Enjoy!

    I'll be heading to NXNW for their Barton Kriek tapping on Friday. I think the following 2 days they are tapping other sour beer

    I miss this every ever b/c of work (and again this year)! I'll probably head there Saturday for the Nighthawk release, and possibly some leftover Kriek :wink:

    Went to craft pride and was able to snag a bishops barrel 5 &6 for their cellar release today. Some good events going on across austin this week. I might need extra coffee in the morning...

    Oseary was pretty awesome, very complex. I recommend trying it today if there's any left, one 2 kegs made.

    And it was 2 regular kegs, and 2 nitro, right?

    I might be wrong but I though Joe said one keg of each.

    The Barton Kriek was very nice. An entirely different category of sour from the JK releases. It should be noted that they are only releasing a small amount to be poured. They only had 4 or 5 gallons of the Kriek yesterday and Juan and I killed it. Also of note they ARE NOT RELEASING BOTTLES , (at least not now), and they never do growlers of the sours. So there you go.
