Austin area BCBS release spots?

Specs. Not sure how much they do for Black Friday but they have had pallets of the stuff pretty much every year. Brodie Specs had about 100 Rare's for sale last year.

 

Mueller HEB just said today that their variants are going to be "VERY LIMITED". This is where I was going to go but maybe ill hit up Specs now.

 

How much other variants did they get? Specs I went to in SA last year struck out on getting anything but regular.

They've had all of them the last 2 years, although in fairly limited quantities.

 

From their tweet, I don't think Mueller HEB understands very well what is being released this year exactly. From my experience, that's pretty normal for HEB and Spec's beer people, sadly.

Having said that, Mueller HEB will get the largest allotment for an HEB and probably by a large margin. They are the only HEB that will likely get the Northwoods variant. Some years they've gotten very small allotments for the variants due to GI having to dump so much, but in those same years, other HEBs have only gotten regular, which has been very easy to pick up.

Brodie Spec's seems to be the best place in Austin from past year's reports. They always seem to get the largest allotment of everything unless there's some other place that nobody ever talks about. They will have all the variants that make it to Austin, unless things somehow are different this year than the last few years.

 

what time were people getting to the brodie specs last year?

 

I'll probably stop by after they open. I'm not going to wait in a line or get there early. I got Rare there easily last year.

 

I don't think many people wait in line there, I've always just gone randomly in the afternoon and they still had everything. Regular BCBS stuck around there for weeks, if not a month or so.

 

Called brodie specs this morning and they have no idea on what they are going to get. They said they got a bunch last year cause they were considered the premier store last year but they dont expect it this year. He said maybe whole foods will be this year. He said possible they might not get the truck in till Saturday.

Wholefoods domain had zero clue and said people follow the trucks around town and they will know their allotment when they truck shows up

Domain specs said to call back later today.

Specs in RR was no help

Only people who have had any info was HEB via twitter. Hopefully they will get more info today or tomorrow.

 

Mueller Beer Shop tweeted that they'll be opening at 6:00am and to get there early... . Would love to get variants, but can't complain about regular.

 

Went to Sunrise today and the guy said they expected some tomorrow. Although he sounded less than 100% confident.
