Austin Beer Week Plans?

Coming up for Jester King and other Austin Beer Week festivities. Didn't plan ahead so still looking for a DD (Saturday) but last resort will use my old UT ID and do CapMetro. Saturday I was thinking (512)>Draught House>Black Star>PHP. Poor liver.

 

Rainey tonight, 512 tomorrow, Jester King Sunday, Red's porch on Wednesday. That's what I've got down for sure. No telling the rest of the week.

 

I'll be kinda busy the first part of the week... but I'll definitely be at The Beerists Live on Wednesday (Oct 30th) as well as Jester King F&SF on Sunday.

Might try to hit up (512) as well tomorrow.

 

Planning on 512 and DH tomorrow and FnSF on Sunday with Oktoberfiesta at ABW as a possibility as well, it just depends when we leave from FnSF.

 

Hoping to do (512) tomorrow, F&S for sure, and then ABW on my way home Sunday. After that, not sure what I can manage during the week from all the way up here. Might try some stuff at the Dig and Brass Tap

Let me know if you do plan to go to the Dig at some point and I will meet you for a beer, seems like we're in kinda the same area of town.

 

Will be at 512 tomorrow (noonish) and possibly Draughthouse at some point Saturday. Then F&S Sunday. I'm sure I'll be at Blackstar and NxNW most of the week since they are more north and hosting some great events. Hope to see some of you these next few days.

Wanted to check out the Barton Kriek Lambic today at NxNW but wasn't able to go today.

 

Same. I'm stuck at work today, but I always try to make it there for the Kriek, it's pretty ridiculous. And the Black Raven that's being released again next week? Pshhh, forgeddaboutit

 

Hit up Pinthouse to try the peach collaboration and it didn't disappoint at all. Very drinkable and if ya really like peach let it warm some. Hitting up draught house for sure tomorrow. Anyone read about of some one off Zoe showing up this week?

 

I 'work' near NxNW but didn't want to bus North and have to bus south later on :/
I get off the bus by PHP but just went straight home for the Wunderkind. Hopefully A peach of a pale is left tomorrow afternoon.
I'll be at DH on and off as it's a close bike ride. Will wear a JK Zwanze or RR t-shirt and look like I'm 15, pushing 16.

 

Just got a ticket to the Hops & Grain beer dinner at Lucy's after FnS. Excited about this weekend.

Most Excited for Abyss, Merkin, Backwoods, Curmudgeon, Green Bullet, Guadalupe BB Chocolate stout, and cask Maximus!

 

The one problem with the DH event is that there is no schedule for when things go on, and it seems like every year some of the kegs don't even get tapped, so they're put on later in the week. I'd love a more set schedule - hard to hang out for 9 hours waiting for something you want to try. Otherwise, it's a fantastic event

Yeah, I'm lucky to live nearby. I'd host a pre-DH bottle share or something, but I think the gate is closed on the weekends and I can't get cars in...closest street parking is halfway between PHP and my place..
