Had a great time at the Hops & Grain dinner at Lucy's. Sat with two of the organizers for Austin Beerweek, Tom and Joanna, and had great convo over some good beer and great food. Got home to Katy at midnight but glad I made the trip to Jester King and Lucy's. Thanks Tom and Joanna for the work you do for Austin Beerweek.

 

Houston dudes are trying to take over this town.

 

Looks like this Goose Island event will have Cherry Rye and BCBCS on Friday.

I'd really like to but it starts at 6 PM and I can't get there til 7 at the earliest.

I really enjoyed the BCBCS and BCS Cherry Rye at Hopfields this evening. I hope we get some bottles of both this year.

 

i didnt see any hopfields on the abw calendar today? at flying saucer now, nice sours.

 

Yeah, the Hopfield's event came out of nowhere. They tweeted about it this afternoon, was the first I heard of it.

They were pouring Cherry Rye BCBS, BCBCS, Big John, Madame Rose, Juliet, Lolita and Sofie. I showed up around 7 and they gave everyone in attendance a free sample of Rare.

 

Damn, I left around 6:45! Hope it was tasty.
