Oddly silent this year. I imagine there will be plenty of bottles, but does anyone know where the taps will be? FYI - oskar blues will have ba ten fidy and a ba jahVanilla ten fidy tap release too.
Well, HEB killed all of the beer twitter accounts. If it's at Mueller, the best bet is probably asking in person. I wonder if there are even GI sales reps in Texas anymore with how ABI has been trimming craft sales positions. Personally, I'm going to hit up the cellar release at JK.
Wait.... what? The accounts in Houston post infrequently, so I hadn't noticed. Both of the HEBs I shop at have reduced their beer sections by 50% and then 50% again. They haven't had a craft beer in their Wednesday paper sales flyer in about six months. No good sales and they've raised their prices. It's like they don't want to sell beer anymore. Time to start shopping at Specs again.
HEB I frequent in Cypress, TX has done the same, unfortunately. Reduced craft inventory and significantly increased the BMC/BMC owed 'craft' brands.
Specs on 183 & mopac has reg and 3 variants. Central market hasn't received their shipment. heb Hancock has reg. Twin liquors Hancock doesn't have any.
I don't think TX got any of the Double Barrel or Reserve variants. Can anyone confirm/deny? HEB's here in Austin have Regular, Wheatwine, and then Mon Cheri and Cafe de Olla for $23.99, which is pretty ridiculous. Tried both new ones and while good, not worth that. Should be plenty go go around, last year's Midnight Orange is still available in stores because of that price point. Several other states were priced around $14.99-$16.99.
Was in Louisiana this past weekend and they had everything we had + the Rye which I picked up. it was going for $14.99 a bottle
