    Hi

I will be in Austin with about 10 other guys for a bachelor party next week Thursday-Sunday.

We are already planning on hitting up Jester King for sure. The rest of the trip is pretty open but was leaning towards Pinthouse Pizza and maybe Bangers also. Also getting food from Franklins BBQ and La barbecue. Any can't miss places people would recommend?

Open to breweries, bars, food, stores. Any recommendations welcome!

    Thanks!

Craft Pride is near Bangers on Rainey Street, amazing selection of Texas beers plus incredible Via 313 pizza in the back. The best. Also highly recommend Whip In as a true "Keep Austin Weird" place for Indian/TexMex food and beer.

When I got married in 2009 in Austin I just went to the Flying Saucer for my bachelor's party with my best man and brothers in law.

Austin didn't have the same craft brewing scene back then that it does now though.

I personally always like to go to Draught House Pub and Brewery every time I make it back to Austin but I haven't really explored all of the hip new places around. My parents did take me to Bangers which was really good.

If you are trying to hit up a bunch of breweries, then you can do these routes:

    North Austin:

Austin Beerworks/Adelberts/Oskar Blues/4th Tap/Circle are all in a cluster walkable to each other. From there, you can catch the bus down Burnet to Pinthouse Pizza and Draughthouse.

    East Austin:

Hops & Grain, Blue Owl, Zilker, Lazarus, and you can end it on Rainey with Craft Pride/Bangers. Brew & Brew is also along that path.

Oh, and when you fly into town, hit up Live Oak Brewing. It is across the street from the airport.
