    Hem: I don't say Australia invented IPA, I just say that so far the earlier use of the expression India Pale Ale comes from Australia. The beer later known as IPA existed for years before it was called IPA, and it definitely arose in England. Indeed, all the beers being called IPA in Australia came from England.
