I never realized how difficult it was to find Sours in NJ until I became interested in them.

This past July I headed up to the Vermont Brewer's Fest and had the privilege of trying a collaboration BerlinerWeisse from Wolaver's/Gravity Zero. I've been looking for Sours at my local liquor stores (I live in Toms River) and haven't been able to find any.

Any idea of where I can look in the area?

    Thanks in advance.

Honestly, I most recently discovered that, although Philly is not anywhere near my list of favorite cities, their sour availability is outstanding. I know for some (especially me who lives in North jersey) this is a long trip, but it is well worth it. For instance, this is my latest haul from going there last night. :stuck_out_tongue:

Depends on what you are looking for. As a previous poster mentioned go to Philly, it is very easy to find RR sours at most bottle shops. Duchess de bourgenese(sp) and petrus oak aged ale, and jolly pumpkin beers are all easy to find in NJ.

I got those at Devil's Den. They only had the Sang Noir unfortunately. I won't complain tho.

I'd also recommend Cuvee des Jacobins Rouge..relatively easy to find and definitely one of the better sours out there.
