I've seen a few threads over the years seeking craft beers in Portland that Seattle doesn't have. But this question is more specific to a brand/brewery that is not native to the Portland area that Seattle doesn't get.

In other words, I can only think of Sixpoint Brewery as a product seen in Portland that doesn't distribute to Seattle. Can you please list some other US based craft beers available in Portland and not Seattle?

Russian River is the big one.

Ah, dangit SeaAle. Would have never thought of this, thinking there is no way in hell I would find Russian River. Honestly, I've never seen a bottle outside of the occasional missed tap of RR when visiting from Seattle.

Seekabrew is definitely not up to date, but here's what they have:
    Ale Apothecary
    Ale Industries
    Alpine
    Anchorage
    Base Camp
    Bison
    Block 15 [Draft only]
    Burnside
    Butte Creek
    Commons
    Crazy Mountain
    Crooked Stave
    El Toro [Limited]
    Epic (Utah)
    Fat Head's
    FiftyFifty
    Founders [Limited]
    Heater Allen
    Heretic
    Hopothesis
    Hop Valley
    Jolly Pumpkin
    Magic Hat
    Natian
    Omission
    Pale Horse
    Russian River [Draft only]
    Salt Lake (Squatters)
    Schirf (Wasatch)
    Shelton Brothers (importers)
    Sixpoint [Limited]
    Sun King
    Trinity (CO)
    Uncommon Brewers [Limited]

Edit: I should add that I still have editing access to this sheet from way back when, so if anyone knows for sure a brewery on that list distributes to WA, I can update.

Off the top of my head, I know WA gets Alpine, Anchorage, Commons, Hop Valley, Jolly Pumpkin, Omission, and Shelton Brothers.

Pale Horse has been closed for a while now.

Not that I ever seek it out, but I've never noticed Magic Hat on shelves or tap in OR. Do they really distro here?

Also, is Sun King seeing regular (or even intermittent) distro to OR? I thought it was just for CBC.

Bison and Trinity are also available in WA. I think I've seen Heretic also.

Haven't seen anything other than #9, but I do still see it. Sun King has been sporadic, but I have seen new beers pop up since CBC.

    Thanks fellas!

Fat Head's is just draft from Portland, correct? No bottle/can distro?

Ale Apothecary - I could be wrong, but I thought they were sending beer north now
Ale Industries - It's here, but it doesn't sell well and is probably old if you can find it
    Alpine
Anchorage - They're with Shelton Bros, so it should be available in WA
    Base Camp
Bison - Chocolate Stout and Hop Cuvee are al lwe get, and that's sproadic
    Block 15 [Draft only]
    Burnside
Butte Creek - No longer available in Oregon
    Commons
Crazy Mountain - I'd never heard of them until right now, and I've seen anything from them in town
    Crooked Stave
El Toro [Limited] - dropped by their distributor ~2 years ago, and no one else has picked them up
    Epic (Utah)
    Fat Head's
    FiftyFifty
Founders [Limited] - They sent some kegs for CBC, but I wouldn't even cal lit "limited" since it was a one time deal.
    Heater Allen
    Heretic
Hopothesis - Never heard of them until I googled it. If they sent beer to town at some point I missed it
    Hop Valley
    Jolly Pumpkin
Magic Hat - We get #9 and that's it
    Natian
Omission - I thought widmer took this stuff nationwide at this point
Pale Horse - out of business
    Russian River [Draft only]
Salt Lake (Squatters) - Wasatch/Squatters pulled out of the state at least a year ago
    Schirf (Wasatch) - see above
Shelton Brothers (importers) - they distribute to WA now
    Sixpoint [Limited]
Sun King - another CBC one off. If you find any SK stuff at this point it's at least 10 months old
    Trinity (CO)
Uncommon Brewers [Limited] - they techinically distribute here, but I'd be shocked if you found anything

Jesus, there is some impressive stuff in the lists provided thus far. that is exclusive to the Portland area. I'm gonna have to carry a cheat sheet with me in the future. Never noticed half the stuff on the lists while carousing the streets of Portland.

As usual, please differentiate between the California Alpine and the Washington Alpine. I don't believe the WA Alpine leaves the state.

The only things on that list that Oregon still gets that WA doesn't get are:

    Ale Apothecary
    Ale Industries
    Heater Allen
Block 15 (they do self distribute kegs up here in WA for special events and when they feel like it)
    Sixpoint
    50/50
Russian River (hard to believe they left WA three years ago now)

Trinity started up here earlier this year and we now get Fat Heads PDX kegs.

Founders should be taken off the list for Oregon. They're not coming any time soon.

Spent the day trekking throughout Portland and there are definitely some differences. I was amazed at the variety inside a couple Fred Meyers locations. The growler fill stations were pretty cool also.

In and near the Pearl District, it's still growing like crazy. Fat Heads & Deschutes were real impressive.

Gawd, these bottle shops around Portland are getting ridiculous (in a good way)!

PLENTY of Six Point at a couple places (both singles and packs). Still on the hunt in search of 4Bean. A Sixpoint rep in town claimed there would be no more distribution in regards to 4Bean. I still have a few places to check tomorrow. I haven't seen a single can/bottle of Founders.
