Average Beer Run

Always more than I plan on spending when I leave the house. Without fail... every time.

 

I can hit 3 stores in about an hour and drop 50 - 60. I probably do that once a week.

 

A typical beer run is for a six-pack or 2, maybe a 4-pack or 2, or a combination of both. So that goes $10-20, maybe once a week.

However, most of my beer volume comes in big hauls for/when I travel; e.g. when I drive down to Chicago or to Minneapolis or Michigan or even fly to Philly, visit bottle shops and do trades, and haul home a bunch of Pipeworks or Deschutes or Surly or Russian River or something I can't get down here in WI. And for these trips I can easily spend $75-125 at a time. Then I don't do the typical beer runs I mentioned above for a while. Phew. This tends to happen once a month or every other month.

usually is 50$/week.. grab 3-4 bottles twice a week, but since ive been unemployed for 4 weeks now and have nothing to do it has been 500ish this month. lol. graet month though!

 

Absolutely nothing, because i grab the beer.. and run!

 

I keep it between $25 - $40 every week or two. Unless it's a 3 Floyds run. Then it's $75 easily.

 

Depends on where I'm going. I spend about $25 everytime I go to my local craft store, and about $90 whenever I go to my local Andersons

 

Ahhh beer....hate to spend on it but enjoy drinking a good brew with good friends. I usually spend $40 a run. There are times I've spent well over $100 ouch!

 

These days I usually roll up at like Whole Foods once a week and buy two or three four packs or sixers and then break them down amongst coworkers who want to try the stuff too. So I may spend, like, $36 but by time I sell some of it out I'm left with $18 in beer or whatever. Tomorrow though I plan on going out to a singles store to grab stuff I normally can't find and drop $50 easy I imagine.

 

Usually I pick up a 6/4pk. and a bomber. Costs about $20-25

 

My beer run in Minnesota last week set me back about $250. Usually I'll spend $25-30 though.

 

Recently saw a guy cycling a bike down the street from The Kernel with a 12 case (used for 500ml bottles) perched on the handlebars.

 

Usually $40-50 every other week.

 

On average it's around $45.

Every week after I cash my pay check I head straight to the beer store. I usually pick up 10-16 beers to last me the week. I'll end up dropping $20-30.

 

Before April - ~$50 a week due to several releases at this point
After April - ~$25 a week, mostly drinking from stash and picking up what I found I liked

 

I usually do my run hoping to find something new, so i never actually know what im getting. I usually end up with at least 2 singles, 1 or 2 bombers, a 4 pk, and a 6. there are 3 really nice stores on one street so i at least buy something from each just to support the craft industry. $40-$60 a week
