-> Poll #22 <- determined that the flavor/aroma hops will be Willamette, Cascade, and Centennial. This poll will determine the IBU target. Note: The bittering model will be regular Tinseth. After this poll, we'll come back around to determine a bittering hop philosophy.

If you want less than 20 IBUs or more than 30, write it in.

When this poll is done, I will look at the data a few different ways to determine the central tendency. It may or may not be as simple as a plurality would indicate. There may or may not be a runoff. It all depends on the data.

This poll will be open for 48 hours.

Let's keep the threads themselves on topic to the question at hand and not about how you would have asked the question differently. Votes from anyone trolling the thread are null and void.

10% crystal malt in this beer influenced my decision. My initial thought was also 35, but decided to keep within the BJCP lines and went with 30.

    35. I'd really like more like 40, but count me in for 35 -- I really don't want this to turn into something as insipid as a typical amber ale.

35 as well. Along similar lines to @pweis909, I've had that number in my head since we decided the amount of crystal malt. The hoppiness will mellow with time, making for a brown ale that's hoppier up front but has a bit of legs to be interesting when I open the last bottle 4-6 months down the road.

I'm good for 30 or less. I think 35 is okay but a little too high. I'm more of a malt-head and won't want a big Centennial addition either. More Willamette. But I know that vote is for later...........

My 2 cents say 35 or higher.

    After discarding outliers:
Median and (near majority) Mode: 30 IBUs
    Mean: 29 IBUs

I'm calling it for 30 IBUs.
