Plenty of Belgian yeasts will be perfectly happy in the mid 60s.

Ditto. Here in Western Mass the thermostat won't be getting over 64 til mid-May probably. I do have a heating system for brewing, but an English Brown Ale is what I'm after.

I voted porter but would be perfectly happy with a stout

I voted for stout. I don't like many stouts and I've never made one that I liked. I brewed the IPA and really enjoyed it so I'm voting for expanding my horizons.

    Come on, Porter!

It's just such a great style, and you can take it so many different directions. But i'll be interested in how this goes regardless of what style is picked.

I chose Scottish Ale, a great style that's often over-looked.

Scottish/Irish fast and loose? ...you are right, though...There's nothing more average than English Brown...except for English Ordinary Bitter

Despite my suggestion of Dark Mild in an earlier thread, I am leaning towards an Imperial Stout. Love to brew session beers, but sometimes I just have to get out of my comfort zone, and this would help.

This could mean a larger mash tun or extract supplentation/sublimation...ooh...great beer name and it ends in "tion"

Okay, I'm down for a stout. I bought grain today at the LHBS and some oak spirals and everything else to do a big ass Scotch Ale myself.

    Carry on!

I'm the lone vote for German wheat/rye so far. My thinking is that the recipe will take awhile to develop, and more time to brew. It might be spring before many people brew this APB*(Vikeman - you should trademark this). A good hefe in warm weather can be close to heaven, and it will be warm sooner than we think.

I have no clue what you mean by supplentation, and sublimation, in whatever context you are using it, confuses me. Yet I know there are some beers not sold in northern WI that end with "tion," so I can appreciate that you are trying to make a pun. Maybe?
