-> Poll #10 <- determined that Dark Munich (~9L) will advance to a future combo poll that will feature Special B, Caramunich, and D-90 (inseparably), at least one ingredient from "Aromatic/Aroma Malt," and possibly Vienna Malt (~3L) (inseparably with the Dark Munich).

This poll will determine if Vienna Malt accompanies Dark Munich (inseparably) into that combo poll.

This is a straight plurality poll.

I recommend you think about this in terms of not only your personal preferences, but also in the context of the ABV and Final Gravity (and thus the attenuation) already selected, malt already selected, and malts and syrup still possible, as well as any possible yeast strain selection that might be kicking around in your head.

This poll will be open for 48 hours.

If you have issues with or suggestions for methodologies used in this project, please send them via beermail. Let's keep the threads themselves on topic to the question at hand and not about how you would have asked the question differently.

I'm going to go out on a limb and say Vienna is out.

Mercy rule. I voted for Vienna in the previous poll, but see no need to complicate things with two kilned malts.

The one where you said Vienna gets no love from homebrewers? I'm not sure I agree with that. I feel like I see it fairly frequently -- see APSaison for example of where we chose to use it. Regardless , whenever I see three malts of the same type, whether it be base malt, kilned malt, roasted malt, or crystal malt, I'm always skeptical. A randomly complex recipe doesn't often translate into delicious, discernable, complex flavors.

Calling the mercy rule. Dark Munich (~9L) continues to the combo poll without Vienna.
