-> Poll #6 <- determined that Wheat Malt and Honey Malt that will join North American 2-Row Brewer's Malt and Flaked Oats in the grain bill.

This poll will switch gears and choose the yeast strain, before we go back and determine the proportions of each grain in the grain bill. I have listed Wyeast strains. If you prefer White Labs or some other manufacturer, vote for the equivalent Wyeast strain (if applicable).

Straight plurality wins this poll. Want something you don't see? Write it in. If your first choice is losing badly, consider jumping to a similar choice that has more votes if you can't stand the choice that is leading.

This poll will be open for 48 hours.

If you have issues with or suggestions for methodologies used in this project, please send them via beermail. Let's keep the threads themselves on topic to the question at hand and not about how you would have asked the question differently. Lobbying for votes and intelligent discussion of each choice's relative merits is encouraged.

No Conan? I know London III is the trendy yeast strain, but Heady is the Pliny of this style. Averagely perfect NEIPAs start there.

Have you used honey malt in an NEIPA before and not liked it?

Write in for gigayeast Vermont Ale GY054, unless there is an equivalent above.

2% honey malt is a nice addition to this kind of beer IMO. We all know you don't want it, but since you've never used it, why not keep an open mind?

Perhaps when you vote on proportions, the next-to-nothing option will win!

Whoops, missed the post by Scurvy. If there's an equivalent above for Vermont ale strain, that's what I'm voting for

London III is widely available and fits the style perfectly.

I forgot about Conan. I see there are some write-ins for Conan/Vermont Ale. Keep writing them in if you want it, folks.

The Wyeast "equivalent" of WLP007 is WY1098, which is an option in the poll.
