    I was ready for a runoff (or perhaps to cast the tie breaking vote), but it looks like someone flipped (or flopped) at the last minute. Kolsch it is. Poll #1 will be up shortly

    Well, it should be an interesting process, as always. I’m actually a fan of the style, so I’ll definitely be paying attention.

    Whelp, I argued against Koelsch but I'm wrong about most things so hopefully this'll be fun!

    Also, I do like the fact that it gives the list of AP projects - IPA, NEIPA, Brown Ale, Stout, ESB, Saison, Dubbel, Koelsch - something of the look of a brewpub lineup.

    (Also - orthographic pedantry: it's Koelsch not Kolsch if you're not typing umlauts, right?)

    Yep, Vikeman got it right in poll #1 . . . and according to the Kölsch Konvention it's production is strictly limited to a 50km radius of Cologne, which is enforceable in the EU. As always, strict adherence to Reinheitsgebot and the brewers must support serving in the unique (stange) glasses.
