I'm curious as well, and anyone know when the uncle Jacobs release is? I know it's somewhere around this time of year typically.

A friend of mine is a Michigan transplant living in Denver. I'm sending him a couple sixers of Hopslam and he wants to send me something in return. What's the best beer store with a 80130 area code? Any chance he could find some Tweak (where)? Thanks for any help you can provide. Cheers!

I might know something since that's my area code.

We're fortunate to have several great liquor stores within a short driving distance. Your two best bets are Davidson's and Luka's, both within a ~15 minute drive from here. Davidson's posts their rare releases on their Facebook page. Luka's post them on their blog (linked on the lower right of their homepage).

I haven't seen Tweak for awhile. If it were me, I'd send them any of the Dry Dock Signature Series beers (especially Bligh's) or any Crooked Stave beers they can't get in Michigan.

I saw some Tweak at Argonaut last week.

It's almost Uncle Jacobs time! Hell yes.

I'm fairly certain that the King Soopers near Leetsdale and Alameda had about a dozen bottles of Tweak late last week.

I just saw that calendar includes cans of Lilikoi... that is awesome! The vanilla bean stout and raspberry sour have also piqued my interest. I don't recall either in years past.

That peach saison has me interested.

That said, peach beers always excite me but then once I try them I never really care for them. At least as much as I had hoped they would.

As of yesterday, Off-Broadway Wine & Spirits has at least five of each: Tweak, Black Eye and 5 Monks; they are located at Hampden and Broadway in Englewood. I picked up a couple for myself to hoard for awhile, especially 5 Monks because I have not seen that in forever.

All the ones mentioned and the BA Coconut Porter have me REALLY interested. Sounds potentially like a better version of Momi's.

    Tweak in growlers.

Just heard on American Beer Radio that during their grand opneing of the new location - I didn't quite catch all the details, but it sounds like the weekend of 2/21 - not only will they have Tweak on tap and not only will they be filling growlers now, but Tweak will be available for growler fills.

I'm guessing it's going to be pricey, but that'd be one heck of a night after bringing that one home.

I can't even imagine... Definitely a pricey fill and you better have a small army to share it with!

Can always fill a 32 oz growler tho, right?

Sure sure... and still be 100% wrecked lol

Also, still gonna be pricey - Avery BA stuff is $1/oz in bottles and I don't anticipate that price dropping much for growlers.

I was in Avery's taproom yesterday, they said Uncle Jacob's will be released 2/22 at the new location

Wonder if the Barred-Aged Vanilla Stout might be Khodynka? Had it when I was up at the "old" taproom, and thought it was phenomenal. I enjoy Avery's 14%+ abv stouts (Uncle Jacob's, Black Eye, and Tweak), but I may well prefer Khodynka as it's not such an endeavor to drink.

Does anybody know when Tweak is being released? I did a Google search and saw a link that mentioned this Sunday and directed to Avery's calendar. When I go to the calendar, nothing shows. Last year it was the 14th, so this Sunday sounds logical, but haven't heard anything.
