If you had 32 oz of Tweak at 18.8%, that would be like drinking 10 glasses of wine (at 12%), or 9 1/2 cans of budweiser, or 9 shots of jack daniels. A 64 oz growler is obviously double that. I am not saying it can't be done, just that it can't be done by me.

Pump[KY]n is being released this Sunday: https://www.facebook.com/events/923597287676420/
Seems odd that there'd be no mention of Tweak, if it were going to be released the same day, no? That said, I'd be more than happy to drink it on the 8th as well...

My bet is on a future weekend, though.

Thanks. I'll ask on Sunday and let everybody know what I find out. I was there a month ago and they said it would probably be a couple of weeks after the Pump(KY)n release, so maybe the week before Thanksgiving?

You haven't lived until you've downed a full growler of a strong coffee beer alone.
If you haven't, you need to leave this board right now and get to work. #YoloStrongAssCoffeeBeerGrowlerChuggers

Need some help finding No. 30 in the Avery BA series, Vallum. Anyone seen it in Denver stores? How about at the brewery?

Picked up bottles at the brewery last weekend. They had lots of bottles left.

Tweak is delayed until February in bottles, according to the person I talked to.

I'd like to see a better mix of stouts/porters and sours in the barrel aged series. Have there been any besides black tot, black eye and momi hiwa?

I with you on more stouts and porters since I'm not a fan of sours. And I love both Momi Hiwa and Black Eye. I wasn't in CO when Black Tot came out.
The other stout they had listed was: No. 6 - Margarete Barrel-Aged Sour Cherry Stout. But a sour stout doesn't do it for me personally.

I agree. Some of the sour offerings have been a little lackluster... in my opinion. I would like to see more "balance".

Margarete wasn't sour, it was just aged on sour cherries. It was pretty tasty, and is holding up pretty well based on the last bottle I cracked.

I have to agree. Someone brought one to a share a couple months ago and I thought it held up great. Decided not to trade my last bottle because of it

    On a related note:
The last 2 releases I went to, they didn't have any specialty or one-off drafts. One of the best parts of the release parties at the old brewery were the great beers we could drink in the line party. For both Rumpkin and Pumpkyn it was just all their regular stuff. Now their regular stuff is really good, especially now that UJ, Tweak, Rumpkin, etc have been on. But I still miss the one-offs. I didn't even stay for a beer after I grabbed my Pumpkyn. Why pay $9 for 5 oz when I have a cheaper bottle in my hand?
Then again I haven't been showing up until about 3PM, am I just missing them, or are they not doing it anymore?
Just lamenting the loss. I guess I just assumed a bigger, better facility would keep offering bigger and better beers for the releases.

I think it's time they reconsidered packaging the old version of Tweak. No need to wait for barrel notes, no risk of a Black Tot, and it was freakin' awesome.

How did the old version of Tweak compare to the new version?
