Hoping they have it at Sour Fest so I don't have to buy a bottle of it before trying it first.

Not in the Barrel series, but what happened to the Botanicals and Barrels Bourbon aged Coconut Porter? It was supposed to have been bottled in May. I was looking forward to it being my Summer beer.

This was the one originally supposed to be in rum barrels, correct? I would imagine the change in barrels could be responsible for the delay considering the aging time. I'd forgotten about as well.

Join us for this special, brewery only release of No. 39 in our Barrel-Aged Series - L'Eighyore. In honor of a very special, special brewer of ours, Leigh Audin, we made a select few cases of this barrel-aged, dry-hopped ale aged in rum barrles. Come taste it's glory and take home a bottle if you are lucky enough. Cheers. - per Facebook.

Interesting. I was wonder what was happening, #38 came out in June and it's been quite a quiet summer for Avery on the Gold-foil front. Any word on #40 ?

    Thanks for bumping this thread.

Anyone seen Callipygian and/or Tweak still sitting anywhere on Denver shelves?

I believe both were at Grapevine. I bought some Calipygian there a couple weeks ago

Wow! That sounds.... awful. Seriously, I respect the experimentation, but damn just about all of the recent Avery gold foil sours are just to weird for me to get on board with.
