Dropped in town last week. Its less coffee forward than batch 2, but more than batch 1. Still damned fine.

I am loving this latest Tweak. The coffee is up front, but it's a sweet flavor as opposed to a bitter style. That 16% is well hidden, this beer is great. I have to admit, I really like the differences in the batches. Each one is a new experience

Uncle Jacob's, Feb 28th. Wish they would have stuck with the Sunday release, but it looks like they want to coincide with Mardi Gras. Guess I'll wait until the following weekend, there should be no worry about them running out.

Join us on Sunday, February 19th, for a special brewery only release of N. 42 in our Barrel-Aged Series – Nox Reposado. With whispers of smoke and sweet tarts, this dark Tequila Sour has been aged in Suerte reposado and anejo Tequila barrels from the heart of Atontonilco El Alto.

Are you talking about the Batch 3, Nov 14, 2016? I have a bottle of it, have not tried it yet, soon. Batch 2 was pretty fuckn' awesome, though.

    Cheers!

Yep, No. 3, great stuff. Tweak is one of the few coffee beers that I think ages well, though I still like it fresh the best

Uncle Jacobs #6. Just had the 5oz on tap at the brewery, man does it go down easy. Real smooth, barrel is balanced. They went light on this batch, 14.9%. Only aged 6 months in barrels, never realized it was that short of a time, tastes like it's much longer, but going back through my bottles to '13, they were all 6mo.

Hmm...14.9% almost brings it to 12 oz weeknight consumption level. That could be dangerous.

Join us on Sunday, April 23rd, for a special brewery only release of N. 44 in our Barrel-Aged Series, named Islay. This complex and smokey stout, clocking in at 10%ABV, was aged in Scotch barrels hailing from the island of Islay in Scotland. -- per their FB page.

Glad to see they're back to stouts after a pretty long sour streak, but damn this is disappointing... smokey beers just aren't my thing

I'm not a big fan of smoky, but I've had a few scotch aged beers I liked. Copper Kettle 18yr Macallan aged Imp Stout was fantastic. Mockery's Double Scotch on the Rockies was also pretty good (I still have one left, I wonder how it's doing). And, believe it or not, Denver Beer had Scotch on Scotch probably 4 years ago which was great, though it was probably the last beer I enjoyed from them.
As for this one, at 10% I don't know if it'll be a $12 beer, but I'm willing to give it a try.

I'll be honest I haven't bought some of the latest BA series as their flavor combinations are not palatable for me. I'm not a fan of tequila, spearmint, ginger, cucumber, smokey beers. I did buy a lot of Dui Cochi though, loved that one.

However they are killing it with Botanicals & Barrels series, I could buy those every day.
