I popped a 2008 bottle last night and it was fantastic. So smooth, so chocolatey. Second half of the bomber was even better. There was a tad of sediment and I drank every drop. Picked it up at a local restaurant and it had been in the cooler the whole time, so of course that slowed the aging.
There was a local store here selling 2009 bottles for 6 bucks a piece probably thinking they were expired HA. I obviously bought them all but i thought the one i had was still incredibly boozy, hot and overly sweet. Ill give it another year i guess or open it with some friends to see what they think
yeah, not a fresh fan of this beer, but after a few years it is remarkably smooth and quite amazing!!
