.... or think about paying $120 for a single 22 oz. bottle of a 2014 Mexican Cake variant at Westbrook for on-site consumption only, yes, that's actually what they charge, and that my friends is insane...

    Completely agree, that's just shameful.

I wonder if Avery plans any expansion on bar or serving/seating area? Love the new brewery, it's huge! But the tasting room and restaurant are relatively small and seemed to most often packed.

I think this has been touched on before, but it sounds like they did this expansion with on-hand capital, and no outside investment. They wanted to focus on the brewery/labs/facilities first and the smaller taproom & restaurant are a result of that decision.

Well that sucks, I've always had more fun at their taproom than drinking an Avery IPA at Old Chicago's!

Anybody know how recent they keep the tap list for their tap room is on their website? Just curious heading up there this weekend.

I actually don't think it's been updated in a while. I went back in March and the list on the website hasn't changed since then. Even still most of the beers they have on there is accurate, but ones like Mayan Goddess and Rocky Mountain olsons aren't there, while samael's and a few others are

The top left corner of their website says the site was updated yesterday but that doesn't mean much. "Today's" list doesn't match the tap list when I was there on Saturday unless they had a HUGE turnover. That's unlikely though.

    Price update:
The big guys at the bottom (UJ, PumpKYn and Tweak) now match the market prices @ $12 for 12 ounces. Also, Lilikoi is nicely priced compared to the 4-pack cost.

Alright it looks like they finally got shit right. It took a while, but obviously they were listening so kudos.

Kind of off-topic, but I was too lazy to dig any further.

Did we figure out for sure if Tweak will be a yearly, seasonal release?

Anyone tried that dry hopped IPA? Thoughts?

Mike I tried it on the 2nd so I don't know if its the same dry hop strain, but I didn't think it was amazing. Slight step above their standard ipa imho
