That's probably true actually. I've met a lot of them every single day and a bunch of them suck. I'm not even placating you, many of them suck.

Edit-also, punctuation doesn't suck. You should've said "Texans suck". You see, you left out the capitalization on the proper noun, Texans, and the period at the end of your poorly constructed sentence. You should stick to Spanish, comprendo?

Let it go, fellers. This was a discussion about an IPA that has devolved into something else. I can agree with points both of you have made about beer. I also agree that the Houston Texans football team sucked this year. But they have been good in recent years, and Arian Foster won me a bunch on money in fantasy when he was a rookie.

Also, my brother moved to Fort Worth. While I found Fort Worth to be a bit of a shit hole, you can get some good beer there (maharaja for example). So howz about we all agree that beer rox and find something about it that we can upon about and leave it that?

Again, capitalization would've helped but not much here given the ambiguity of the word "Texans" which could mean sports team or state resident. The Texans (sports team) were actually quite bad this year. They were favorites to win the AFC, according to many, but instead shit the bed fantastic. Sadly, I believe you were trying to belittle me by attacking the Houston Texans but my rooting interest does not involve the Texans. I watch the Cowboys to laugh at them along with the rest of the country but my true love lies with the Texas Rangers. You can definitely laugh at them but given the fact that you're in Colorado but the Rockies, well, suck so it won't hold much water.

come on guys, let's end this on a positive note! How about let's find a beer we all think is awesome and fist bump on that and move on? I'll get it started. Maybe you guys are not into Belgian Quad's. We can switch styles if that doesn't work.

I loves me some Pannepot, whatever version. Though I had one the other night that was oxidized and disappointing. Rochfort 10, St. Bernies Abt 12, La Trappe, … some of my faces? How bout al y'all? Or let's do another style category.

Ok, I've tried Westy 12 a few times. Awesome, oxidized, same-same Abt 12 or so...

Maharaja this year definitely seems different but I'll attribute some/most of that to the massive quantities of Sucks I've been drinking screwing with my taste buds

I'm on board with that. Not to hijack the thread further but this is seriously one of the best championship weekends the NFL has ever seen. I'm rooting for you guys, kidding aside. Also, you may have been on the receiving end of a bad week worth of angst earlier… Finally, send me your Maharaja but keep your weed dirty hippie.

The dude is just trying to cover up that he thought they were drinking Maharaja from last year.

I don't want to rehash a stupid argument, I just doubt that one can tell a few days difference but I'm not suggesting one can't tell a year's difference. I personally don't remember how much a beer falls off in a few days when thinking of last year's batch. That said, I enjoyed the banter with Imperial and if he didn't then I genuinely apologize.

Did you miss the ones about 2013 BCBS? Almost everyone agreed it's better. But you are right threads like that are rarer than hen's teeth.

How do you say, you are a douche in Spanish? But to stay on topic, I was never a huge fan of this beer but didn't detect differences from last year.

I ignored every thread about 2013 BCBS, because why read about a beer you can't get. Around here, that stuff came and went faster than a fart in a hurricane. Fremont's Kentucky Dark Star was definitely way better this year than last though.

Pretty sure we can take care of that. For you, that is, not the rest of the state haha.

I missed that thread, I guess, because I thought it did not compare well with previous years. Even had a mini-vertical to check. Of course, it's not fair to pit a year-old BCBS against a fresh one, but still... Of the four years vintages I have notes on (2008, 2009, 2012 and 2013), the most recent year was the least impressive.

    Okay, back to Maharaja!
