Has anyone ever done the Thurs session of GABF and made through the Midnight Breakfast? There has to be a ton of no-shows that pass out, right? If it's possible, is it worth it? http://www.brownpapertickets.com/event/264991
Thursday night is World Brewers Forum. Free admission and 20+ homebrews on tap at the Marriot. </shameless_plug>
That midnight breakfast menu sounds sick!!! I just can't commit to more money on the trip, $100 and not sure of the condition I'll be in that late.
Yeah, all the details are here: http://www.kroc.org/DesktopDefault.aspx?tabindex=2&tabid=12 It's usually a pretty fun event. In addition to the guest speakers, they usually do a silent auction, raffles and have plenty of great homebrews and commercial beers to try.
Did this last year and was definitely not passed out after GABF...was a great time with lots of really, really good food, but it is pricy for sure.
No RSVP required. Just show up. Most people stumble in after the GABF session lets out, but if you show up early enough there's free food
Good to know about the World Brewer's Forum. I already have a ticket to the Midnight Breakfast, since I will not be going to the Thursday Session. Anybody knows of any other events happening during the weekend? As of now I only knew about the Midnight Breakfast and a sold-out bus tour to Oskar Blues. If anyone has other info of events such as the World Brewer's Forum, I'd appreciate it. I probably would not have bought the Midnight Breakfast ticket had I known about this.
