I'd just like to point out that his joke would've worked better with cows.

 

I guess not everyone's familiar with Malachi and the gang, and I didn't even initiate that joke. The 'Outlander' meme from above (that I didn't author or post) is from a film called 'Children of the Corn'. My response was in reference to the post and nothing more.

And Clonies...there's no thread shitting or insulting here, unless you're extremely sensitive. One of your "members" stated about a beer made close to home for me: "This beer sucked, it tasted like granulated sugar and rubbing alcohol. People are not missing much, but that is my opinion." I simply suggested that was a bit harsh but perhaps fit the mold of many other negative reviews by the author of that statement.

I didn't feel like a thread re-hash was necessary, but I was then (likely comically) called out for being a homer in my praise of the beer, whereupon I insisted I wasn't propping it up to fluff trade value...by stating I personally wouldn't trade any.

 

It was indeed a joke... As often made on BA. Especially in the trade help section.

I should have mentioned Idiot's Drool or something else equally as obvious as sarcasm.

 

I took no offense to anything you said, and got all your jokes, I just stated an opinion. I have been very favorable to almost all the other Avery Barrel Aged beers in my reviews, though I am sure you did not bother to look those up (I wouldn't either, its a long list). This one does taste like ethanol and sugar to me, which I don't know how anybody drinks more than an oz off. It makes Creme Brulee taste like a regular stout. Sorry if I come off a little strong on my opinions.
