Did a quick search and ddn't see this posted so my apologies if it has been. The Barrel-Aged Series gets a new family member with Oud Floris, a Flanders-esque dark brown sour ale - sweet with pucker power and notes of fruitiness. This experimental ale gives honor to the brewing tradition of Belgium's Flanders region, and we christened it after our old friend Foris Delée. In addition to being our newest adopted brother, he happens to be the chief consultant in the design and planning of our new brewery! We love you Floris! We will release this amazing sour on Sunday, June 24th, with bottle sales beginning at 4pm. Bottles will be $8 each and a limit of 6 per person. Not to mention, a selection of some super-special drafts for your wait in line!!
Sure will if I make it to the release! Will be working that day but will likely head there after work.
Sounds good...let me know if it works out...just stopped at New Glarus on my way through Wisconsin and picked up some R & D Golden Ale...would go 1:1 on that if you are interested...same price point...we can figure out other things to make it more interesting as well...cheers my friend
I completely spaced on the Oud Floris release. It's The first one I'be missed. I have some tucked away from the previous releases, particularly the last few. Let me know if anyone would like to trade a could of bottles of #12 for a couple of bottles of Immitus, Margarete, Quinquepartite Muscat d’Amour, Recolte Sauvage (have one of each of some).
I don't think it sold out at the brewery but it's only 252 cases so I would expect it to only be distro in CO.
My beer guy here is Denver said he was expecting a case so it's getting distro'd but O expect it to be only CO
Anyone still looking in CO feel free to BM me. I would be interested in trading for some previous avery releases.
I am definitely ISO this one. If anyone wants to trade a bottle or two BM me...I can send Bruery beer
