    Momi was released in 2013.
But, yeah, Breck sucks. Their rum barrel aged Vanilla porter was garbage. Let alone everything else from them.

Agreed I think I was partially drunk when I made this comment. I fully didn't read into the forum either. I've just seen a lot of beers done with coconut and rum as individuals. Even though I'm am positive enough to say no one has ever thought of making a strawberry beer in cognac barrels

I'm surprised at all the hate for the raspberry sour. I really liked that beer, especially at that price point. Can't please everyone I guess.

Looks like this will be year round starting in July. Though they said the vanilla bean stout would be year round and I've only ever seen a bottle once.

Been skeptical since Vanilla Bean Stout. Hopefully this is good.

they are all year around, they just come in batches. its difficult having barrel aged beer sit on the shelves at all times. they bottle a certain amount, then send it out and it gets bottled up and they have to wait a few months for the next batch to be bottled and sent out. the point of the story is, even if you only saw vanilla once, it WILL come in again, and again, and again, and again, until they run out or discontinue the series.

As others have said, Rum Barrel stuff has quickly become a personal favorite. This is one of my most highly anticipated forthcoming releases. Thought I seen where it may become a year-round offering. If so, I hope to God this stuff is delicious!

I already saw this, maybe someone posted it earlier, but yah. It looks like it has the potential for greatness. I don't know if any place in my area would have this though. I haven't seen any Avery products anywhere.

I always wondered why more Rum Barrel Aged beers aren't put to market, until I recieved an explanation while studying abroad with the University of Kansas in Panama.

Supposedly, rum barrels leaving the Carribean and South America take a beating in transport after being severely weathered in those climate's. The barrels are also expensive to ship, and not always in good condition upon arrival into the States.

BTW, the craft beer scene in Panama is laughable! Tons of Americans and Europeans are flooding the Central American markets. It would be so tempting to open a brewery near the Panama Canal/Panama City. Tons of available labor, infrastructure, shipping options, expendable income, and DEMAND!!!!!

I enjoy their Raspberry Sour myself, but I agree that vanilla stout was a huge letdown. Won't be going out of my way for this one.

Living in CO, I have a steady supply of Broken Compass Coconut Porter which is amazing. They did a rum barrel version which was still awesome but I prefer the regular. If you are out this way make sure and put it on your list of must haves!!

Here in Lexington, ky, one of our breweries did a coffee stout in rum barrels and it was fantastic. Made me really want to try more rum barrel aged beers.

Coming in May. Just in time to drink at the Shore this summer. Sounds like a plan!
