Avery Rumpkin in PA or MD

Avery has not been in MD for over a year, sucks and I mis thier beers!

 

Blue dog had bottles from last year I believe.

 

i heard production is gonna be drastically down this year, since the batch was compromised and good bit was dumped

 

i never saw any bottles last year but a couple bars in philly had it on tap.

 

On Facebook Avery said it wasn't leaving Co.

 

Closest I've ever seen it to Pittsburgh was seeing that I could (supposedly) order it from holidaywinecellar.com So, no basically.

 

The Institute still has it on tap. Left over from their pumpkinfest a few weekends ago. At $12 an 8oz pour, I'm guessing it'll be there for awhile...

 

Was released to Mass. Got 5 bottles Friday night.

 

How much did it run you? Guessing you're paying a huge premium to buy a bottle in Mass.

 

$11, I think, but if you bought 12 or more of any bottles it was 15% off, which was nice.

 

That's actually a decent price. I saw it here last year for $18...ouch. Probably even more this year if it makes it here at all.

Yep, for a 12oz. All of the Avery limited brews are crazy-expensive here. Samael's, Beast, etc are all $16-$20 a pop. I would buy an $11 Rumpkin bottle in a heartbeat.

 

Wow, that's REALLY expensive.

 

Huh, just repeating what I read. Where in Mass.? I have a friend who lives there coming to visit me next week.

*all* of Avery? I'm pretty sure I've seen Czar and Kaiser bottles in Southern MD as of last year.

 

I don't know if it's related, but I've been hearing that it's coming to FL in December, so maybe that's when it's supposed to be nationally distributed?

 

Any updates on this, MD or DC?
