I grabbed one at Arbor Walk the other day and noticed the case production was 418...last year's was 512. That's not that much less...wonder why it's been so scarce this year...? Last year I had no problem grabbing bottles but this year all I heard is that we might not get any. Now I'm hearing a few spots around town should be getting more in the near future...

Houston sightings?

 

Based on current trends I'm guessing it won't come to Houston. I'll cross my fingers, but even if it does, in 2012 it's hard enough to get seasonals, never mind crazy limited stuff.

 

Phone report. Specs midtown only location in Houston getting it. 4 cases per Specs Katy and in stock now.

 

Specs Midtown doesnt have it in (or at least not yet). It may be in their system, but they said they dont have it, nor do they know when to expect it

 

Conspiracy Theory says, they are saving it for the regulars. :O

South Lamar Wine and Spirits got 2 cases. Specs Arbor and Brodie both got one. Not sure where that 5th case went.

Apparently the five cases had been in HEB stock for some time, but HEB does not sell beers with very high ABV. The beers went from HEB > Distributor > HEB a couple times before they realized they couldn't be sold

 

Fifth case went to Specs Airport, but only because Whole Foods apparently rejected it due to a bar code issue.

 

Any confirmed sightings in Houston?

 

Which specs? I called the one on mason and n fry rd, and they said they don't have/carry it.
