It will sell at the brewery during the release first. Avery then decides how much is left and if it will hit stores. My guess with 276 cases it will have a limited distribution in stores.

    Show up to the release.

They've said it will be a brewery only release. Maybe all our whining about their distro methods had something to do with it?

Where did it say that? It says it can only be guaranteed at the brewery release but that doesn't mean it won't hit distro if it doesn't sell out.

At Avery's taproom, the little sign said brewery only release, believe it also said the "only guaranteed at" thing too. Definitely remember "brewery only", but I suppose I'll just have to go for a pint to confirm my memory :grinning:

Fantasy football draft on Sunday. Maybe I can stop by afterwards, maybe.

I offered to pick up 2 bottles for any BA from the Uncle Jacob's release, there weren't any takers.

I am out of town for a few weeks and none of my friends seem to be going so I am ISO. Bm me if you can help me out, I'd like quite a few so it will probably involve you staying until the line is over so the limit is over.

I have $$, sofie Paradisi growler fills and am also stopping by 3 Floyd's on sept 5th on my way back home so I'm sure we can work something out.

What time can you buy bottles until? I'll be coming back into town around 6:30-7:00 and wanted to know if I could still purchase them.

The quote was "during the release party until the beer runs out!" So I would say until they close on Sunday.

I too would like to get 2 bottles or so and can't make the release due to work. If anyone on the south side of Denver is going and could mule for me I would very much appreciate it. I've got a couple out of market beers I could throw your way as a thank you. Cheers!

With a 12 bottle limit would anyone be kind enough to pick up 2-3 bottles for me? Like many on here I am unable to attend, but can get you cash and some random beers from trades I have made recently. Message me if you would be willing/able.

    Cheers

I will be going Sunday and can grab a couple for someone, however I'm new to building up my cellar so I would prefer to trade 2:2 for other BA Avery brews other than Ross's' and Volunt. Ideally I'd like an Oud Floris and a Momi but I'm open. If this helps someone let me know!

In case anyone planning on hitting the release party is interested in the tap list for the back bar... this isn't totally solidified, so changes could happen. They frequently do. But we are currently planning on throwing on some of the following kegs: Rumpkin 2012, El Padre (Tequila barrel-aged Reverend), Beast 2011, Tweak, Miscellus (sour made with our homebrewers club), and some Rum barrel-aged Reverend that we just debarreled last week. We're not tricky enough to come up with a name for that one. But it's a big, caramelly mother of a beer.

Should be a good time. Unfortunately, I can't make it to this one, as I'll be out of town. Such is life. Enjoy some Thensaurum for me... I'm extremely happy about how this one turned out. Honestly, I did not expect a rum barrel aged sour beer to work out, but it exceeded my expectations in a serious way. Big caramelly/rum aroma, but it finishes incredibly dry with a nice, moderate lactic sour kick. It's a great dichotomy... it's like the aroma and flavor are completely different beers, but in a very good way. I can't wait to start pairing it with food at home and see what works...

Any chance this would be on sale Saturday the 31st? I am going to be in town from Texas, really want a few bottles of this.

My observations on past sales, it usually takes 10-14 days at least (might be a week later then that) for it to make it out to stores if it's going to. Avery doesn't know until it sees how much is sold at the release party.

Thanks, I was just hoping they'd have some on sale at the brewery still/again that next weekend when I stop by.

Avery never sells any of the BA Series at the brewery after the release. I saw Rumpkin last year with a 1 bottle limit after the release but that's an annual release and not part of the BA series. And I only think that was to let people in town for GABF get some

Too bad, really wanted this one. I have no doubt I'll leave CO extremely happy with everything I got to try and everything I'm taking home still.

Your other thread says you are leaving for CO tomorrow and you'll be in Denver on Sunday? If that's the case you should make the trek up for the Avery release Sunday evening. The beers they pour at their release parties is worth the trip and usually some bottles shared while people are there.
