It was a little challenging at the start, but has gotten a lot easier since. Now it is pretty easy.

Rarely will one ever confuse buying beer at a bar/taproom as being a "value" decision from a monetary POV. :sunglasses:

For me, though, I just find that I get more "value" in being able to try a few different beers at a bar for the same price it might cost to try that one beer via the bottle. While I get less product in return, I get enough to satisfy my needs. I guess its the beers where I don't think that argument fits, or I will be upset if I miss the chance to try a beer because I don't know if it will ever hit the taps, where I make the exceptions for and go out and buy bottles of.

It's not, but a I've had a lot of beers I just want to try and $5 glass beats $15/bottle. Try 3 beers or buy an entire bottle of 1 I may/may not like. (Unless it's a bottle I've had before and know I like)

This is certainly true but I happened to find Supplication on tap recently for $7 per 10oz pour (it may have been 12oz now that I think about it). Quite the deal imo.

Opened my first bottle of this last night, it is super tasty. I wish I had maxed out instead of just getting 8.

A group of have learned to open one up at the brewery release party (since they sell them cold) and get back in line if we enjoyed it more then we thought.

That's a smart decision. I will def be maxing out at brewery only releases, not that I will get to go to many in TX, hopefully I can make it to some Jester King releases, a friend picked me up one bottle of Atrial Rubicite, excited to open that one soon.

Wish I had done that with Momi Hiwa. I'm still kicking myself for not grabbing more

That was certainly a release that several people in our group got back in line

Several Thensaurum in Wallaby's cooler today. $10.49, should anyone still be looking.

Just had my 2nd bottle after opening one on release day: totally different beer. I've never tasted a beer that aged so much in 2-3 weeks. It's not a full-on sour whereas my memory before was more of a "rum pineapple cocktail" beer.

Also at Colorado Liquor Mart in the back cooler for like $12.50. Limit 1.

I had the same experience. Completely different now. Adds to the beer's weirdness in a way.
