Curious if anyone has heard rumors of this coming to Texas. I know Petrol had it on tap a while back. Having never had it, and as delicious as it sounds, I'm hoping it does and I can snag a bottle or two.

I know BEK in DFW said they were going to have bottles and planned on sending them to stores, not just bars.

Had this on tap at Star Bar during GABF and loved it. May be too boozy for some, but I couldn't get enough of it. Probably my favorite beer of theirs. Not as boozy as I found Uncle Jacob's at all.

Yeah excited for this. I think it is my favorite of their barrel aged beers.

edit: I honestly had forgot that it was barrel aged, not just coffee mephistopholes

Just grabbed a 5 Monks. Like 16%. Looking forward to it.

It's far less boozy than their other huge beers. Think rumpkin rather than the beast series.

Five Monk's is 19.39%. It's pretty balanced......as balanced as a big beer like that could be. I drank a bottle easily.

Avery's Barrel series is studded with delicious beers!

Just crank that A/C down to 60 and you're good to go
