    Has anyone tried this yet?

I know Aviator doesn't get the highest remarks on BA, but a 13% BA stout in a can seems tempting.

Was wondering about this one. I just can't bring myself to pay 5 or 6 bucks for a 12oz Aviator can. Would love to hear if it's any good though.

While I find the reviews on Untapped to skew up, they are favorable. I'd probably try one.

Go but it now! Aviator hit it out of the park with this! BCBS clone.

I misspoke on my earlier post, I liked it so much i picked up a growler of it. It is excellent.
And the brewery is awesome and worth the drive.

Out of curiosity, what about this beer being in a can makes it more tempting? It's hardly a beer you'd take to the pool or golf course (and if it is, you're a lot more man than I am).

It's different. You don't see a beer of this ABV size in 12 oz cans/bottles very often. While I enjoy downing bombers, sometimes 12 oz. can do the trick.

Ah, gotcha. Yes, the 12 oz. size would be nice.

Agree with the positive comments! Excellent foamy head, wonderful aroma and mouthfeel. I wonder how it would age being in a can.....

anyone seen this in the CLT area? I've liked a few Aviator brews and would love to try their take on the style

I'm sure it ages beautifully in a can. No exposure to oxygen or light. Haven't seen or read any negatives about Ten FIDY (the closest I can compare this to).

Only issue I'd think of is BPA seeping into the beer. We know that it does, even short term, so I haven't aged any can beers.

Yeah, that's the million dollar question.

Any word on if Night Jump is going to the Triad? I saw that Sam's got some before Christmas. Debating if I need to drive out to FV or wait it out here.

It's going quick, get it now! $5 for 12 ounces aka $10 for 24 ounces of BA 13% stout... Math doesn't lie people it's a steal.

Not quite sure I'd call it a "steal," but yeah it's probably appropriately priced.

Distribution was extremely limited. Aviator bottle shop had it for weeks before other local shops (for good reason) and I don't think they canned very much. It'll be back next year with some force.

I don't care how you purchased it, I stole it for my own greedy consumption.
