If you can't take the heat, stay out of the kitchen.

That's pretty good assuming you're not serious. It's hard to tell anymore.

At the end of the day we just have to suck it up and deal with it. I believe there is an Irish saying about how every moment of pleasure in life needs to be purchased by a moment of pain. That's what a hangover is.

I've found the Kefir (pro-biotics and nutrients) drinks can really help battle G.I Distress from drinking, I usually have about 8 oz before I drink and 8 oz before I go to bed. I like others have also found pedialyte to be helpful. However, sometimes the alcohol wins, nature of the beast

Doc, it hurts when I do this.....

Drink less at one shot! Guaranteed that will prevent the hangover.

Eat first. Snack Later. Some water in between is helpful. Gatorade at bedtime.
"Better Beer". If you are drinking Old Milwaukee, Bud Light etc. expect to feel like crap.

I noticed last year when I went to the BA Craft Beer Fest in Boston that as a kept drinking water when I rinsed out my tasting cup, I never got drunk or that buzzing feeling whatsoever. None of us really even think about water a lot during our drinking sessions, but that is key!
