Awesome person/trader alert- Markasparov

    I haven't actually set up a trade with Markasparov (but I would love to in the future). I won his Lights, Camera, Action! Part 7 LIF about a month ago . I had never won one before, and Mark couldn't have started me off in a better way. He sent me a 4-pac of Heady, a 4-pack of Gandhi-Bot, a '10 Juliet, and an IST- all wants that I didn't think I'd get to try for a long time:

    Unfortunately, the IST broke in transit:

    But I wasn't in the least bit disappointed because of the other insane beers he sent me (and because I received one in a BIF). So when Mark sent me a message asking if everything arrived okay, I did my best to express my innumerable thanks, and though I mentioned the IST didn't make it in one piece, I also told him not to worry about it. He immediately apologized and said he would send me another box, I pleaded with him not to, and we went back and forth about it.

    Fast forward to June 15. I just arrived home to this box:

    I would have posted this sooner, but I left for New York with some friends and barely had time to get on BA. Point is, Mark is an awesome guy, and considering it was a LIF, I didn't ever expect/hold him responsible for another box just because one beer broke in transit. But he sent me one anyway. I thought I'd share publicly how blown away I am by his generosity. Thanks Mark!

    Most of the folks on here are stupidly generous and genuinely nice people, even the ones who are curmudgeonly and belligerent, like me.:wink:

    Looks like you got bombed for sure, twice in fact, hope you pass that karma forward.

    God, that's awesome to get that second box on top of an already stellar first box. Do yourself a favor and pass the karma onto another deserving BA. You won't regret it.

    I'll chime in and second this. I won an us open lif and received a box from Mark today that awesome. I'll post pics once I figure it out. Solid generous cat for sure!

    This is totally unnecessary (but thank you!). For what it's worth, dejrrma sent out a ridiculous box to another lucky BA for the follow-up LIF, so someone should start an awesome trader alert on dejrrma also.

    poonamibaxter kicked me an insanely generous box for a Masters beer bet, and FTowne was invaluable in showing me the ropes of how to trade, sends incredible boxes, and provides the best packing material of anyone on the site. They also both deserve awesome trader threads. (In reality, more or less every person I've interacted with on this site deserves an awesome trader thread).

    Seriously, thanks, dejrrma... and thanks to all of the awesome awesome BAs I've traded/LIF'ed/BIF'ed with. You all freaking rock.
