Have any of you guys experienced their growlers going flat relatively fast? I'm in town for two weeks, and stopped by the brewery twice for growler fills, and both were completely flat upon opening. Both were filled in their 32oz growlers - one was kept in the fridge for two days before opening (Pine Mountain), the second was opened about 5/6 hours after purchase (Coffee Stout). Needless to say, I'm not happy with this at all, and am wondering if anyone else has had this issue with them.

Was the coffee stout on nitro? That would explain why it went flat

No issues with the 12 or so times I have gotten their growler filled. Anytime I get a growler from any where though I double check to make sure the cap is on tight. Or I just use my flip top ones.

It wasn't listed to be nitro on the menu, which is why I asked for a fill; but if it was on nitro, they should know better not to offer it to go, in the first place.

I should have brought a couple of swing tops out with me, lesson learned.

Growlers are not the best way to store beer. Esp the twist top, but after a few hours does seem very quick.
