Azacca hops

    This just occurred to me while pondering my favorite 15 pack for another thread, does anyone know any beers besides Founders Azacca IPA that use azacca hops? Such a nice tropical fruit flavor, I would love to get it more often but I have never seen it anywhere else. Seems like it would be a prime choice for a juice bomb.

    De Garde's Petit Azacca used them. It was delicious.

    I've seen many in the New England area. I know that Burlington Beer Co. and Farnham (both local) do single hopped Azacca IPAs. Not sure about out in Cali, but it seems like a popular and well regarded hop.

    I've seen it used in a handful of NEIPAs, but it still takes a backseat to Citra, Galaxy, and Mosaic. It is a delicious hop, though. Tastes like cantaloupe and mango to me.

    thank you for that, my new ISO list

    exactly, mango and cantaloupe all day, such a nice deviation from the more citrus heavy fruit hops (which I also love).

    Great Lakes Hop Madness uses Azacca, alongside Warrior and Simcoe though.

    Not just for juice bombs. Allagash uses it in Hoppy Table Beer, which is superb.
