I have a bottle of this, and I'm wondering what the trade value of it is. Has anybody done some recent trades for it? If so, what did you trade for it? I'm interested in getting some BA Imperial Stouts and BA Barleywines, but I don't know what would be reasonable to ask for it.
I've traded 1:1 for Fou'Foune and Lou Pepe Gueuze 07 in the past. You probably could get something nice if you found the right person, BT or Chocolate Rain perhaps, if other Bruery beers are your thing. Really, you'd need to list what you're looking for, or just post an ISO/FT.
I'm mostly looking for beers that I can't get in California. Such as: King Henry Bourbon County Rare Bourbon County Rare Coffee Bourbon County Cherry Hunahpu's Dark Lord Darkness CW 15 Peg's
Any of those should be doable (BC Rare less so), but not multiples unless it's of some of the non-barrel aged versions.
I'd think everything on that list at the very least (except for Rare, guessing you'd need to add) is doable 1:1, in some cases more so. You could probably get Coffee+Cherry for one for example, maybe adding some locals at your end to balance $4$. I think BA 2TD can be counted as a $35 beer for $4$ value, and just match for other stuff of equal desirability.
Thanks guys! I have gotten a lot of PMs from this thread already. I think I'm going to try for Rare, seeing is this beer is probably my best shot at getting it. What's a reasonable amount to add on in addition to the BA2TTD to get a trade like that done?
I traded mine a year ago and got Baller, '11 Darkness, '10 BA Boris, '10 KBS, '11 KBS, and a couple more bottles I forget.
$35 brewery only limited release from years back? Pepper your angus for those Cherry rye and black note 4 pack offers.
