BA 4D Madagascar

I'll be there. Bought a couple 4 pks as well.

I ordered a 4 pack each of regular BA 4D and BA imperial stout. Never had these beers before but hope they are tasty as they were pricey.

I always love the the winter solstice beers and BA 4D and BA Imperial Stout is phenomenal. I'm hoping Bret is right and that this is their best 4D batch yet.

 

I'll be there! I hope they have the 4D Madagascar on tap because I dropped the ball on Saturday with family party stuff and forgot until Sunday when it was too late!

I'll be at Clinton township tomorrow, but if anyone is at the Warren location tonight let us know the special beers on tap (I think they just have paper lists on the tables) because all untapped says is 4D and Barelywine right now.

Man I miss this brewery. This is a long shot, but is there any chance any of you Solstice attendees are going to the Central Waters anniversary release? Hint, hint..Wink, wink..

 

I just got back home from picking up my Solstice haul as part of a four-day vacation in Detroit. First time trying anything from Kuhnhenn (and Dragonmead!), but I'm drinking one of my Vanilla BBA 4D's now, and holy cow, this is delicious. Haven't had a bottle of the regular BBA 4D yet, but I did have a snifter of it on draft at the Warren location. Both are great, but the vanilla is a step up from that, for sure. (Edit: I feel like I should make it clear that, given that the "regular" BBA 4D is already the top-rated Old Ale on BA, this vanilla variant is one of the best beers I've ever had.)

I also grabbed a case of the Solstice stout and a 4-pack of the BBA American imperial stout from the pre-sale. After visiting the Clinton Township brewpub, I snagged 4-packs of DRIPA and White Devil, and I regret not bribing any of their brewers to immediately start canning Blueberry DRIPA.
