I've been seeing a lot of ISO BA Abraxas lately and wanted to know if anyone has successfully closed a trade for the upcoming release of BA Abraxas. What will it take?

I have a few brews that may get it done. Will a bottle of Remy's Pappy or Grey Monday close this deal?

I think Remy's Pappy+ might but not Grey Monday. Have to wait and see how it all plays out after the lottery, but it will definitely be in the realm of a Db huna type beer to trade for.

Just gotta have the right eyes look at the post really. The general sentiment I'd imagine is for those that have reservations to wait and see what the market commands post lottery. I've successfully (pre)traded for one, however this comes with a huge disclaimer, it's with an established trading partner- I'm sending him a Prop + Atrial (+ extras).

Word! Sounds like your established trading partner is a stand-up guy!

I've seen a lot of ISO:BA Abraxas posts, but none of them have hit the nail on the head. As June 6 gets closer (the day BA Abraxas is available for pick-up), I think there will be an increase ISO's, with some that will close in minutes. It never hurts to put a trade feeler out there; if you're off, there's an endless supply of people on this forum that will let you know about it.

I think you'd have to find the right person who brought mules (some guy on here got his gf and her friends to come for him)

Personally, my bottles will be kept for personal consumption (ok 1 is going to my cousin)

I found someone who was going Armand & Tommy 1:1 for B2 BA Abraxas; I think that sounds a little lighter than Prop + Atrial. I am guessing when all bottles are released that Prop + something small may be on point

Yea that was ole Chuck, good guy, good friend. And you're right Prop+ should be the going rate after all BA Abra is no slouch!

I agree, BA Abraxas is top 5 beers for me. Love that stuff; I know people have been saying that Prop has been going downhill... had last weekend; still going strong great beer! It will be interesting to see what (2,000? bottles) of BA Abraxas goes for. There were around that for DBH (sorry don't have the numbers)

Oh man, I completely agree, Prop was/is still delicious to me. Although I also agree with the naysayers that it's not a coconut bomb anymore, however, still fantasticò. The bottle counts are probably approximately correct for DBH:BA Abra, and both sought after.... After all low bottle counts don't equal rare, low bottle counts + sought after = rare. Or maybe it ='s hype, nonetheless, I'm with ya, it's gonna be good!

Thanks for the input everyone... just gave me a sense of what to expect. It took me a while to land a DBH. I suspect BA Abraxas will be just as hard, if not harder to get. I will try tho... my biggest trade leverage right now would be the Grey Mondays & Remy's Pappy. I could add a bunch of Extras with the GM, hoping that it would attract a few Bruery fans... but if these offers wont do, I don't know what will.

I think Remy's Pappy should get some looks, and then if you were willing to throw in a smaller bottle you may be able to get one locked up. Cheers, hope you land one!

I traded a Blabaer 750 for 2. Probably gave up too much but I wanted a couple and didn't want to mess around.

Hopefully its as good as last year.

It should. I'd be awfully tempted to give up the one I have coming for a DwtD. Bothe are phenomenal beers.

I'm thinking Prop x2 : BA Abraxas. Is this off? Would anyone make this trade?

How about LP Fram '11 + Arthur + Brother Soigné? Think that's about right?
