BA age check

24 and every time I get carded I ask how old they think I am? 18 it's pretty bad, wish I good grow facial hair

 

45 and I still get carded every time I go to the grocery store. Liquor stores never.

 

That just happened to me two days ago in PA! First time in decades.

 

I think @BMMillsy and @Modernrickk deserve a round of applause. A century old and still going strong! Impressive, gentlemen.

 

I always feel so young on here. A quarter of a century old!

 

I am so glad I didn't have the sophisticated palate for beer I have now (42) when I was 21-30!!!!!!!

 

Will be 57 in a couple of weeks. Both of my sons can, and do, buy me beer, as I do for them. I have a dark, weathered, outdoor complexion from a lifetime working outdoors, with gray in my hair, and still get carded occasionally!

 

I'll be 45 in a few weeks.

In VA, it must be a law to card in a grocery store (I'm fairly sure it is in the state liquor stores). Every grocery store I go to I always get carded. And, I probably look my age.

 

Old enough to not refer to it as "craft".

 

I was thinking the opposite, and that the first category should have been 0-20. Aren't drinking ages in some European countries like 16 or even younger?

But members do agree to the terms of use on BA, one of which states they have to be of drinking age in the country/state where they reside in order to join and use the site. And with votes publicly visible, you'd have to pretty dumb to admit you're underage in this poll.

 

Old enough that if my age was cut in half I would be able to legally drink in the U.S. LOL

 

Old enough where I surprisingly ask the BA guy I went to high school with when he started drinking beer and grew a beard in which he says, 2 years ago.

Born on February 29th so I'm 10 1/2.

 

-- Old enough to say "thank you" anytime I am carded

-- Old enough that I had the right to drink taken away from me twice (thanks to the Federal Gov forcing 21 upon the states). I was "legal" for a few months when I was 18, at which time the age was raised to 19. I turned 19 and was legal for a few months before the age was raised to 21. To this day, I remain an advocate of returning the drinking age to 18 (or at least throwing the question back to the 50 states and getting the Feds out of the way). Ok, enough thread drift, back to our regularly scheduled discussion...

 

Old enough that if my age was cut in half I'd be exactly old enough to legally drink.
