Guys - Does BA Blackout hit any distribution, or is it brewery only?

Last year's release party was 1/21 (ticketed), with open sales 1/22 at the brewpub

I long for days when the release party was $10, they filled growlers (including Rackhouse) and served kick-ass appetizers.
Now its $35 and a cheese plate.

I do really enjoy BA Blackout though. It belongs in the conversation with the other big boy BA stouts, but it's several notches from the top.

So this usually lasts a week or so? So if I go up on that Saturday I'd be totally cool?

There was plenty last year. I think it was in the gift shop for nearly two weeks.

It was available for a while. I think the cost keeps it sitting for a while. Just like Blacknote was available at Bells. People are weary to blow $300 over and over again...I have to wait for Dark Lord Day before I blow a wad like that again. Spent $650 over Thanksgiving on Bourbon County and Hoppin Frog....time to drink um!

$180 a case, roughly a 38% premium on BA Plead the Fifth from last week.

    "Lol"

Does that account for tax? They charge tax on top of the $180 whereas BB Plead was $130 out the door.

I don't believe it's out the door but I could be wrong, I don't remember from last year.

I am saying it's not out the door... it's $180 plus tax. At least that's what I remember from the past. Not sure what Ohio tax is exactly, but I am guessing tax puts it near $200/case.

World-class BA Stout for about $15/per if it was in a bomber.

Sign me up every day & twice on Mondays. One of my top-five favorite beers in the world.
