How many of these were produced and how much did they cost? Has anybody traded for one of these recently? What did it take? I was trying to do Czar Jack + Darkness'09 = BA Brandy DL'11 is this fair? if not which side has to add?
there were 392 bottles produced, and if i remember correctly cost $50/bottle(!). czar jack + darkness seems like a decently fair trade, especially for someone without access to MN beer, but to be honest the difficulty in obtaining a bottle - whether or not it is that delicious - is what has me most hesitant in trading mine away. since there were so few bottles, and people were limited to single purchases (they'd have to have won at DLD '11 and also been at the 15th anniversary party to have more than one bottle, unless they used multiple tickets at either event), i'd think you'd have to find someone that either spent a lot of money for multiple bottles or someone that has it but doesn't really like DL (or both) to make the trade. basically to sum up, at least when i think about my bottle, the difficulty of getting it + the major hit to the wallet that it was has me in a spot where it'd take a really good offer to get me to trade it. wouldn't be surprised if i'm the only one that feels that way.
