BA Dark Lord gathering Chicago

Depending on when/where, I have a Cognac de Muerte...

 

I have a vanilla and my buddy has a Cognac (regular) if its out west enough, we'd be in.

 

I might be in if it is in the city and I'm available. Have regular cognac.

 

id be in if in the city, i have options. 2 years of vanilla, a pappy, and a de muerte 2012. id also bring plenty of other beers as well.

 

A few friends and I were planning on doing '05-Present DL vertical with 1 or 2 BA variants on Sept 22. I wouldn't oppose trying to merge the two events...

 

Depending on the date, I would definitely want to join anywhere in the Chicago area. Some of what I have:

I have Cognac and Cognac De Muerte. A trip to Chicago would be pretty awesome, but it depends on when it is.Also have a BA Alpha Klaus w/ Plums, BA Owd Engwish, and SoBro (lol) that I could open.

2012 De Muerte here... A chance to taste each would be awesome.

 

I think it would be amazing to get both of these tastings joined up, but is it at all possible to maybe move it back a weekend to the 29th? Its just that the 22nd is Revolution's Oktoberfest and we were planning on going. I haven't purchased tickets yet though, and I'd rather do the tasting, it is just something to consider if anyone else was hoping to go to Rev's party.

 

id be willing to host the event in river north area. I'm around the corner from the merch mart for cta access. lou malnati's is right around the corner and i also have plenty of other beers I've been meaning to crack so this would be the perfect opportunity.

I live in Texas currently and only in town for just that weekend, so I'm not really flexible. I'd like to see this work out, but understand if you all would rather do this another weekend. We had looked into Rev's party, just seemed too pricey and we have limited time in the city.

 

I've made a spreadsheet from the postings here. Looks like we would just need to find a 2011 de Muerta if everyone attended with the bottles they said they have. Though, it would rely on 2 BAs being extra generous with the BA DLs they have!

Ideally I would like to bring just 1 bottle, however if my girlfriend comes (who also loves and appreciates beer) I would consider 2 or 3 bottles.
