First "back nine" box arrived today, so many thanks to @mj0126 for this Treehouse cornucopia !!! Made myself and the missus very happy, looking forward to putting a serious dent in these Saturday night as we're hosting some fellow hop heads for cards. Marc, so many thanks for the hoppy goodness and running a great BIF as usual !!!!!

Received this box from the always generous @BigBarleywine, just in time for Thanksgiving! It's for my 3rd place finish on the back 9. I'm particularly excited about the Black Aggie. Thanks, man!

 

It takes a lot to surprise me these days, but @sblickem had my wife in search of the defibrillator when she saw me open this one! Some background here, Sean sent me another season long box for this fun little BIF a while back but unfortunately there's a UPS employee somewhere along the way who took it upon themselves to enjoy the fruits of all his labor. The powers that be at UPS also are still giving him a hard time on a claim here even though they don't know what the contents were of the box they "lost". I insisted several times he not send a second box, but apparently Sean has a hearing condition as this arrived yesterday......



Three BA Revolution cans (I'm such a Chicago native fanboy of these guys), a Side Project Saison 750, and an intriguing 750 from Une Annee that the wife can't wait to try. Then there's the 2016 BC Prop, and if you look really close in the middle that's a 2015 BC RARE !!!! WTF were my exact words upon unrolling the bubble wrap on that one.

Who the F sends a BC Rare in a BIF box?????? The second box was not expected, but obviously very much appreciated. You're out of control Sean, I owe you one my good man.

So many thanks to @WhoDatMatt for this arrival, the wife and I are very pumped up for some of our favorite hop releases DDH Ghost in the Machine and Holy Ghost ! The others are all new ticks and we're looking forward to test driving those as well.

Apparently, once again Chad can't count. Somehow, I think he overstepped the mark on the OZ "Back Nine" requirement here. Pictures speak a thousand words, so.......

 

So much for my thoughts of "Dry January" the hophead in me won't be able to resist all this hoppy goodness. Thank you very much @cosmo4u, I'll get you back....somehow.

 

@BigBarleywine just hooked it up with a perfect box and his timing as I wrap up year end stuff at work couldnt have been better. Matt reached out when he realized I wasnt getting a box so he stepped up in place of one of the guys in the pool.

Impressed with UPS getting this out with a foot of snow dropping today. Local store had some of the BCBS 14 on Black Friday and i hesitated and missed those so I was wondering if I was going to find some of that. I loved the Cherry so excited to have another bottle to sit on for a year and of course more original. The IPAs showed up ice cold so im about to open one after a couple more excel files are wrapped up.
